Can a gas regulator be installed backward or upside down?

If you want the regulator to provide service according to its full capability, it must always be on the actinic. It does not let gas get out when the vent limiter is on. Again, turning off the vent limiter will cause a hole in the damper, which will slow down the speed at which the gas drifts.

So, the first tip is to find out the perfect mounted position of the vent. Some gasoline comes with a horizontal position; others may come with a vertical installation process.
However, you will find one more position that is flexible. You can do both upside and downside installation without any problem. Very few types of gasoline or cylinder come with the vertical position.
Drip Leg:
There must be a drip leg near the propane to collect the dust and debris. It will help you a lot in passing gas to the stove, and the dust won’t create any issues.
Check leakages:
Among all the tips, this one is crucial. You must check everything about the gasoline pipe and cylinder. If there is any leak on them, it will cause you great difficulties within a while. Whenever you find leaks in gasoline, you need to repair them.
Otherwise, the leaks will pass the gas unwillingly. It’s a good practice to check the gasoline in a week and ensure there is no leak on the cylinder. It will create a weird noise, if there is any, and you can detect it pretty soon.
